NATO Experts are in Armenia
From March 2 to 4, the NATO group, evaluating the implementation of the Armenia-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) and Planning and Review Process (PARP), is in Yerevan.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense, the visit aims at reviewing the mutual commitments of Armenia and NATO and revealing additional cooperation and assistance opportunities by the programs IPAP and PARP.
The cooperation with NATO was discussed by the working groups in the form of plenary meetings and exchange of ideas with First Deputy Minister of Defence Davit Tonoyan. During the discussions the works of the ARM Defence Ministry in the fulfillment of the IPAP and PARP programs were studied. Special attention was paid to the efforts of the Ministry of Defence in reforms in military education and personnel management, strengthening cooperation and expanding the scope of international peacekeeping circles, as well as enhancement of women’s role in defence.
