Normandy Four FMs to Discuss the Progress of Implementation of Minsk Agreements
Today, on March 6 the meeting of "Normandy Four" Foreign Ministers will take place in Berlin. The progress on the implementation of Minsk agreements is on the agenda. The decision to hold such a meeting was made by the leaders of four countries – Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine. The agenda was formed as a result of telephone conversation between the Russian President Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President François Hollande and the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, Tass reports.
On the eve of meeting the German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said that there is a significant reduction of violence in southern Ukraine, but expressed dissatisfaction with the pace of implementation of Minsk agreements.
